What is architecture's role in relation to resources? Extraction is an interactive pavilion in which visitors contribute to its assembly.

Through a research-driven design process, Extraction integrates strategies of cradle-to-cradle material cycles and design for disassembly, allowing the installation to be deconstructed and its materials reused.

Tracing this journey from cultivation to assembly, the installation demonstrated how public engagement and co-authorship can shift the perception of materials from passive objects to living pedagogy.
